Our fundraising revenue supports us to keep our beached safe with having the right equipment and training facilities for all surf life savers and members. It helps us to maintain our membership by being able to offer training for nippers, youth, senior and master members.
Our nippers have grown to over 300 members this season and our youth continue to excel in leadership camps and surf life saving competitions at regional, state and national levels along with our senior and master competitors.
We are looking for a number of sponsorships to enable funding to buy equipment for our Nippers, Surf Sports and Life Saving Operations.

Mermaid Mates
Surf Sports plays a major role in developing our member’s skills and fitness to perform life saving duties in the most treacherous of surf conditions.
The Mermaid Mates are committed to supporting our competitors at Mermaid Beach AEME SLSC.
To become a Mermaid Mate a $1,000 tax deductible donation to the Club is required .
MERMAID BEACH AEME SLSC SURF & TURF CHARITY RACE DAY
Last Saturday the Club conducted its annual Surf and Turf Charity Race Day at the Gold Coast Turf Club. The event was attended by over 500 people and we raised an amazing $33,000 for the Club.
I would like to thank all members and businesses who supported the event and make special thanks to Jeff Burchell (Fundraising Coordinator) and Lee Murphy (Business Administrator) for their outstanding work in arranging the event.
Also a big thanks to the Professionals Mermaid Beach John Henderson Real Estate for their support in promoting and facilitating the event at the turf club. This is great start to our fundraising year, well done to all.
