January 2016 – Luke Cuff finishes 5th in the Kellogg’s Nutri-grain Ironman series.

October 2015 – Mermaid wins Australian Surf Life Saving Club of the Year.

At the Australian Surf Life Saving Awards of Excellence in Sydney on Saturday 24 October, our Club was awarded the highest recognition that any surf club can receive, the Australian Surf Club of the Year.  We were selected from a field of five from clubs that had received their respective state Club of the Year awards. June 2015 Luke Cuff joins Mermaid Beach to upgun elite Athlete Program.

Mermaid Beach Surf Life Saving Club has reinvigorated its Elite Athlete Program for the coming surf season by the signing of young ironman Luke Cuff. Luke is an up and coming ironman, the youngest male competitor in the Kellogs Nutri-Grain Iron Man Series and finished 8th in the series last season. Click here to read more…..
